Vintage Chocolate Mold Bavarian Bunny Couple Lady Umbrella Anton Reiche Hinged
There are a couple of similar versions of these molds made by different manufacturers. But these are stamped so they are easy to identify. The lady is stamped 6312 and Anton Reiche Dresden and 39. The man is stamped 14743 and Anton Reiche Dresden and also 39. This is a Bavarian bunny couple with the lady holding an umbrella and the man a cane. The lady bunny's clothes are beautifully done with an especially nice scarf at her neck. The man wears a suit with knickers and vest. These are each about 7 inches tall by about 4 inches across at the widest point. These were likely made from 1913 to 1939 so they're early molds. The outside has a beautiful patina and wear from use. The inside is still shiny and smooth. Since these have bottoms they would have been used for hollow chocolate figures.
You get the set of 2. Please see photos and ask questions before purchasing. Please note that this mold is silvery in color and any blue is just a reflection of the backdrop. There is no blue on the mold whatsoever. Vintage Chocolate Mold Bavarian Bunny Couple Lady Umbrella Anton Reiche Hinged.
