The style of the flowers on the inside fits that era. One panel has a tear near the top. The vertical tear is about 2.25 inches long. There's a horizontal tear about 1 inch long running to the left of the vertical tear.

At the top, there's something funky going on where I assume there was some kind of cap at one time. My father can't remember why it is the way it is.
