This interesting and unique trench art walking stick stand has been hand made from a very heavy antique brass ammunition shell that dates from 1911 - so pre World War 1. This stylish stand of good quality can also be used as an umbrella stand, looks wonderful on display and is a great talking piece and stunning piece of trench art. Marks: Marked to base VII 1911. Height: 35.5 cm (14) approx. Diameter of shell at top: 27 cm (10 1/2) approx. Diameter of shell at bottom: 18 cm (7) approx. Condition: Very good antique condition with some marks, dings and wear leaving a wonderful age related patina as would be expected from a pre World War 1 ammunition shell.
