Vintage 1950s to early 1960s reversible swing coat, with original matched umbrella!!! An ultra rare set, still together and ready to charm. Coat is a heavy rayon satin in solid black on one side and bold black & white stripes on the other. Buttons and roomy pockets at both sides. Tall stand-up collar, and long belled sleeves meant to be worn cuffed. Loose, roomy fit through body with bust darts and interesting sleeve construction that creates a flattering drape over shoulders. Coat best fits a US womens size small to medium as it is intended to have a loose swingy fit. Pictured on a US size small mannequin. No maker labels or tags remain.

Coat is in great condition overall, no structural issues / holes / seam issues to note. There are a few light marks to striped side that are lost in the pattern, but there.

We have tried to capture the most significant one in last photo - near right side bust. It might lift with a dry clean, we have only steam cleaned this rare piece.

Umbrella is made of matched satin with a black lacquered handle and silver tone metal hardware. Umbrella works excellent, fully functional, although it does show signs of use. There are marks and lines throughout; tough to capture in photos due to the shine of fabric. A few scratches to black paint of handle as pictured.

Umbrella measures 32 inches wide when open. S I Z E : tag size - none fits like - best fits a modern womens US size small to medium bust - 32 to 36 waist - best fit up to 32" max sleeve - 25" un-cuffed shoulder - sloped hip - measures 29" flat length - 37".
