Hours and hours of handwork! Were commonly made in this area by ladies church groups or by hand at home. I acquired this beauty at an estate sale in central Minnesota. Handmade and Quilted -Lady with a Parasola design. Hand stitched but does have machine stitched edges. Made of cotton fabric with batting. Measures a very large 89 x 102. We laid it across a queen bed for pictures and it hung over. I would say it was never used, but does have two discolored areas that I think would come out with soaking or dry cleaning. These are shown in pictures 5 & 6. See photos for closer inspection.
