Vintage U. S. Flag Umbrella Possibly From 1876 Centennial Celebration

Really unique antique patriotic flag type cotton material with stripes (red and white), stars are (white), and hanging tassels. The all cotton material is in amazing shape for its age with no rips, tears, or holes. Just some minor fading and normal age discoloration of the white which is now more of an ivory color. Still even has the eight original tassels hanging down from every corner. These may have been red at one time; now a bit faded. Measures about 26 inches in length. It looks like a bamboo type wood shaft with a curve handle. It has metal spokes beneath to hold the umbrella open. The catch no longer works.
So you can just scotch tape over the metal push up bar on the wood shaft display in the open position. All the metal spokes are there; seven of them; one has broken off the retainer so you can still display it as is open or tape this part (which is not visible one in the open position). The umbrella has was likely used in a parade celebration.
