Wonderful Victorian Rolled Gold Plate Umbrella Handle

  

This listing is for a beautiful Victorian Period Rolled Gold Plate umbrella or parasol handle. L ovely antique umbrella handle dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Ornate embossed design with engraved floral design with intricate border, octagonal shape with scalloped design on top.

There is some damage on the right side on the handle (see photos). No other problems or flaws other than wear commensurate with age. Nice ebonized wood stem with branch design.

Measures 6 3/4" long with the hand hold being 1 1/8" in diameter and the end tip 1/2 in diameter. These umbrella handles are often used today as handles for magnifying glasses.
